Profile Information

If you create an Expert profile, you may provide:

• Professional headline, bio, and specialty description
• Practice areas and skills
• Bar admissions and certifications
• Work experience and education history
• Noteworthy projects
• Languages spoken
• LinkedIn URL and other professional links
• Profile photo
• Availability status and location

Uploaded Files

You may upload documents to the Platform, including resumes, conflict check forms, and other professional documents. These files are stored securely and access is controlled based on the document type.

Inquiry Information

When you submit an inquiry or contact form, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email, company, and the content of your message.

Usage Information

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Platform, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform
• Create and manage your account
• Display your Expert profile to potential Clients
• Match Experts with relevant opportunities
• Process and respond to inquiries and engagement requests
• Communicate with you about your account, opportunities, and Platform updates
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
• Comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

Public Profiles

If you create an Expert profile, the information you include may be publicly accessible via a unique profile URL. You control what information appears on your profile. Your profile may also appear in the Leyla directory.

Client Inquiries

When a Client expresses interest in an Expert, we may share relevant profile information to facilitate the connection. We will not share your private contact information without your consent.

Service Providers

We work with third-party service providers that help us operate the Platform. These include:

• Supabase: Database hosting, authentication, and file storage
• Vercel: Frontend hosting and content delivery
• Railway: Backend server hosting

These providers only access your data as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on infrastructure provided by Supabase (PostgreSQL database and file storage). We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Row-level security policies on database tables
• Secure, time-limited signed URLs for private file access
• Authentication via secure token-based sessions

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access & Update: You can view and edit your profile information at any time through your account settings
• Delete: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
• Data Portability: You may request a copy of your personal data in a structured format
• Communications: You may opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us
